Tai Chi Chuan
Also
known as Taijiquan, this ancient system of movement has a profound
effect on the overall health, posture and vitality of the practitioner.
Tai Chi Chuan conditions the body and calms the mind; energy levels
and mobility increase and the internal organs are massaged, enhancing
their function.
For those who wish to support their return to health, or simply
to participate in this wonderful system of exercise to maintain
and improve their health, we offer instruction in Tai Chi Chuan
for health and well-being.
John Maxwell has practised Tai Chi Chuan for many years, beginning
his training with the respected Master Lam Kam-Chuen (author of
several books and the Channel 4 TV series ‘Stand Still,
Be Fit’ - a guide to Chi Kung training) and later with Sifu
Raymond Rand (a very accomplished practitioner, teacher and author
of ‘Tai Chi Chuan - A Comprehensive Training Manual’).
Sifu Rand is a senior student of Master Lam Kam-Chuen and technical
director of the Yongquan Tai Chi Chuan Association, of which John
is a qualified level one instructor.
Clients can be taught in small groups or individually, as required.
